Melaka Central
Melaka Sentral, Melaka's bus and taxi terminal is located in the suburb
of Bandar Peringgit. It is only about 15 minutes from the heart of the
city and directly opposite the Tesco store in Jalan Tun Razak.
The terminal is Melaka's transportation hub, connecting interstate
buses and taxis from every corner of the peninsula as well as domestic
services. The design of the terminal is a pleasing blend of traditional
Malaysian and modern motifs. The spacious single-storey building has a
high roof and skylights, which let in plenty of light and air, and it
is fully air-conditioned. The building has separate wings for taxis and
buses. Each wing has a central courtyard, with a tropical, landscaped
garden. In addition, there are sidewal cafes, restaurants and fast food
outlets as well as retail outlets for the convenience of travellers.
An Information Counter is located between the wings.
There are 24 ticket counters and 24 departure bays for interstate express buses. Domestic buses are served by 12 ticket counters and 18 departure bays. For those choosing to travel by taxi, there are ample interstate and domestic taxis in the taxi terminal. Melaka Sentral is made up of three main components: the bus and taxi terminals in the main building, a wet and dry market, and a bazaar outside the building.

Melaka International Airport
The airport relocates to a brand new terminal which started operations in May 2009. Compared to the old terminal which could only handle 0.3 million passengers per annum, the new terminal can accommodate up to 1.5 million passengers per annual.
The increasing number of business and leisure travelers to the historic state of Malacca has inadvertently brought ascending number of passengers to the airport.
The airport is located 10 km from Malacca town, covering 140.71 acres, with a 1,372-metre long runway.
